I still had Adderall left, so I was taking my Adderall morning dose, then taking the Vyvanse for my afternoon dose because it lasted longer. Plus, I'm up late studying anyhow. Then my doc took me off Adderall and I just had Vyvanse. I found the same as you, that it doesn't 'get me going' very quickly in the morning. I am a slow waker, too. Plus, my days are long, so it was wearing off before I was done studying. I talked to my doc and he put me back on Adderall just for the morning dose. So now I only have to get 30 tablets of Adderall, which is cheaper than 60, plus my Vyvanse through the PAP.This seems to be working okay for me. I get the benefit of the Adderall 'boost' in the morning when I most need it to act quickly, but the Vyvanse works throughout the day and tapers off gradually (no crash). So, you might talk to your doc about that.My doc checked my blood pressure the last time because I think he was concerned it might be too much stimulant, but I tend to have low blood pressure anyhow, even on medication. He actually told me that in general, ADD/ADHD adults will have lower blood pressure, but not really sure why. Maybe it's our tendency to forget things and not dwell on stuff as much. :)

I was taking 30 mg of generic Adderall twice a day, but I don’t have insurance (full-time law student), so I looked into Patient Assistance programs because I am on one for my expensive asthma medication.

I ended up getting on the Vyvanse PAP, which of course makes it much cheaper for me to be on Vyvanse because I get it free.
